Kevin is a 3D artist who became a technical artist who became a lighting artist, and is still all of those things in varying measures on different days. Kevin's specific sphere of technical art is lighting, materials, effects, and optimization. While he does not write code or script, he is at his best when working closely with engineers and rigging artists as a translator between the art, engineering, and tools departments. When he isn't fixing artifacts, lighting, texturing, or optimizing game assets, he enjoys drawing, reading about new advances in real-time rendering, and writing paragraphs about himself in the third person.
